All right, what I would love to see is a way to get the avatar gallery to show up on the top links, rather than users having to go into the usercp to change their avatar that way.

Like there would be an avatars.php page then all of the avatars and their categories would be accessible that way. Anyone has any clue what I'm trying to say?

Can't you just link directly to the UserCP's avatar gallery?
You may need to use a POST form (haven't checked) but directly linking should work.
