Just wondering... Has the bug/issue thing about MyBB with reading threads been fixed?

Haven't been here in a while and I was just wondering.

(If you don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain. In MyBB, when I used to run it on my site, there was a weird problem where we had to view the forum a post was made in so the forum wouldn't keep showing a "new thread" is made.)

If it's the bug that I think you're talking about, then yes, it is fixed. But not in a publicly available version (yet). It is fixed for the next upcoming release, 1.4

Well yeah I heard about it being fixed in 1.4. Just figured since there have been a few updates since the 1.2.5 or so that I was using at the time that maybe you had incorporated it into one of these releases

To wait... or not to wait for 1.4... that is the question now

The 1.4 post marking system has been rewritten so as I have already said before, no, this fix will not be coming to 1.2.x.
