I'm wondering if someone could write a mod (or has written one, if I have missed something) which randomly generates a "password" or "code" (or one set by the administrator) that visitors are required to enter when they register on the site.
It's similar to the Invitation Only plugin, except there would only be one code and you can register with that code only (or perhaps the ability to add multiple codes?).
This means the code would not be unique, but visitors need to know the code, unless they cannot register.
