I have a forum that i want to be hidden from everyone except staff till it is ready ( has to do with a planned chatroom for my forums/site) but when i try to set the permissions so it doesnt show to guests it changes right back and allows guests etc to see the forum?
Ok. so i see that using the Permissions via forum management doesnt work BUT if i go to manage forums and then set permissions it does work.
Is that how it is supposed to be?
If you're using the permissions full editor (not the quick permissions box) you have to select at the top "Custom Permissions" and not "Default/Inherit" so that the custom permissions are saved.
