You could add "Topics Started:" yourself if you really wanted. All you need to do is ask for the code and place it in the postbit.

I just created this modification. You can change the language bit from "Total Topics" to "Topics Started" when you edit the language file.

I hope it work right, let me know if something doesn't work.
