I am interested in investing money into this software. I am wondering if the administrators and moderators, and other lead programmers, are active here anymore.

I think that MyBB has what it takes to become an actual competitor of vBulletin and Invision Power Board, thus creating great revenue and reputation oppurtunities.

Well from what I've heard, myBB is a completely free open source software.

If it remains open source it would be pointless trying to sell it.
(since the code would be easy to access)

I dunno about investing money into it :/
