Keep in mind that the wrong settings could leave your site dead in the water without phpMyAdmin and/or FTP access, so I'd wait until the owner returned if you do not have this access.
I have full access. There's a reason why I'm an Admin there. We're powered by MyBB and Quotaless. We have around 25 SQL errors on the site.
How often are you getting these errors? When do they normally display?

Can't, I'm on a Wii. PC was damaged during a recent power surge. It'll be fixed monday. I can PM you log in details of an Admin account that was made for others to use so they can help us without joining.
Well good news is I don't see any SQL errors and even better news is I found the login problem.
