We need to delete someone's posts, but as an administrator we are not allowed. How can we delete their post? Who can delete them?

Of course you can delete posts.

We cannot. We get an error message telling us, as admins, that we do not have those privileges. We can only delete our own posts.

Make sure "Is Supermod" is selected when you edit the Administrators usergroup in the Admin CP.

Then you need to double check group permissions and the usergroup the members are part of. Admins and Moderators are different....and if you have custom usergroups then you need to make sure permissions are set correctly.
