Hey there.
Is there a way to not display that a post was edited when an administrator or moderator modifies another users post? (IE. This post was last modified whenever by whoever) .
I looked through the admin panel but I can't find anything.
Admin CP> board settings> change> posting> Show 'edited by' Message for Forum Staff>no

That doesn't work for some reason. I thought it might be just for when admins/mods edit their own posts?
Remove it from the template postbit.

{$post['editedmsg']}

{$post['editedmsg']}

Thanks a lot labrocca!
But what about when users (not admin/mod) edit their own posts? Is it removed then too?

Yes it will remove it.

As per previous suggestion use admincp settings if you want to remove it for admins. Obviously admins editing their own posts aren't effected by this rule:

Admin CP> board settings> change> posting> Show 'edited by' Message for Forum Staff>no
Thanks a lot labrocca and Destroyer for your help.

(BTW, a completely off-topic side note: Your plugins are great labrocca. I'm using your inline-ads plugin, and I just installed your contact form plugin. Just figured I'd say thanks. Smile )
Also, the setting only affects posts edited after the setting is selected. Posts already edited before the "edited-by" settings were disabled will continue to show the message.
Oh... That's why I thought it wasn't working. Thanks DennisTT!
