At the moment I have to do all hand by hand and I wonder if there is an mod for contests.

In short how it works:
- I have a special forumcategory
- Every month I create a new thread where you find the subject of the month
- Registered users can add a reply with their photograph (in [img.... img] e.g. from photobucket)

- At the end of the month I close the thread and create threads with a poll (for every 10 photo's). The photo's are placed in the startpost and all given a number and name which you can find in the poll.

- After a couple days the best of each thread (preselection) will get to the final poll thread. This works the same as the preselection thread.

- After another couple days there is a winner which will be published in another thread and picture placed on the frontpage of the website.

What am I looking for:
- Possibility to start a special contest-thread
- This thread has an automated close date
- Users can join the contest a limited times (e.g. 1 photo every user)
- A reply is limited to only a couple fields (e.g. photo title, photo), it's not possible anymore to add comment
- With just a couple clicks you can convert the contest to (multiple e.g. max.10 photo's in a poll) a poll to let the users select their top photograph.
- All this of course integrated in the forum, so it will be an interactive part of the forum and not a sub-site.

So in short I don't want to create the photopolls any longer hand by hand every month. There has to be a much more faster and efficient way.
I already searched through this forum and the mod-database, but I couldn't find anything near, hopefully I missed something and somebody can help me to find it.

This would be a great mod and I'm willing to help in whatever manner I can to get it done...
I was thinking it'd also be good to add an option for x number of votes.

I think that in MyBB 1.4 it'll be lot easier to do that because of the Task Manager and the improved code, so IMO - wait for the release.
But don't think it will be easy - what you request it's a lot of work, and instead I suggest to not do that as part of the forum with threads and posts, instead make it as a new part of your site and only make an integration that for example:
1. post a thread to announce the last winner and the new contest's topic.
2. replace the picture in the top of the forums to the winner's picture

I need the exact same thing. I'm willing to pay if someone can create it.
