i want to make a navigation bar at the top of my mybb forum
a good example is at the top of thei page
there is a home,about,dowloads,features... etc... on this site as well as the search,member list,calendar and help.
ive made a simple 1 using html in the templates but its placed between the welcome back and top of the forum board,
i really wanted image buttons just below the banner

can any one help?

If you want it in your header, just edit the header template under the logo <div>. That should work, since the logo <div> should knock it down to the bottom of the header.
