Either it's 'Hidden' or it's not ??

There is already permission options for who can view / what groups can view what forums ??

And what is the purpose of having 'half-visible' but non-functional access to hidden forums ??

Show hidden forums will show all forums regardless if they can view the forum or not, but they will not be able to view the thread list inside that forum.
