the Custom user formating does not work it says it requires edits but does not say where or what edits.
does anyone know what edits i need to make?

You will need to visit the Support Forum for MyPlaza at Zinga Burga's website. Secondly the comment "Thanks for not helping, again?" was a bit uncalled for. MyBB is provided free of charge and the Support Staff do all they can to help walk you through resolving an issue. MyPlaza is not a MyBB Product, it's a Plugin created by an End User to help benefit your community. Without their hard work and dedication, things such as MyBB and MyPlaza would not exist.
I can see and understand your frustrations, but there's still no excuse for taking your frustrations out on those who are here under no obligation to help provide you with the best software and free support. In the download package for MyPlaza, if you look through the readme, there's instructions on the code edits. Alternatively, you can access them by reading the file Documentation/module-userformat-codeedits.txt
Alternatively, you can have Advanced Modules do the code editing for you, however, it does require you to set it up with FTP details.
