I don't know if this has been suggested or not, but how about member created factions for forums. The creator of the faction can post stuff on a special page for the faction and other members can request to join the faction, non-faction members will be unable to see or post to faction pages (if set in the permissions by the faction leader). Of course the administrator will have jurisdiction onver everything, and must approve faction before they are made.

nice suggestion *thumbs up*, could be an improvement of the current 'public group' system (?) .

Personally I see this is a good candidate for a plugin/modification. However, please also post it on http://ideas.mybboard.net so that we can see how many thumbs like this idea, so to speak.
