Full Version: internal server error from finished install

I get an internal server error after completing install....

url:http://anydomain.com/forum/install/index.php last page of install says: Finish Setup

Creating Administrator account...done

Building data cache's...done

Your copy of MyBB has successfully been installed and configured correctly.

The MyBB Group thanks you for your support in installing our software and we hope to see you around the community forums if you need help or wish to become a part of the MyBB community.

Your installer has been locked. To unlock the installer please delete the 'lock' file in this directory.

You may now proceed to your new copy of MyBB or its Admin Control Panel.

Make sure you're subscribed to the updates mailing list!

When I click on proceed to my new copy of Mybb...and click.... I get

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If I click the other option of going to Admin Control Panel I get there no errors.

but if I click view my forums from admin control panel I get the same error!!

Is this a permisions issue ?

Need help ASAP...Please if you can other construct info please help.

I get a 404 error when trying to access the above URL. Are you sure that's the correct page?
