Ok, I transfered domains and made a backup of the forums I had, How would I upload the backup onto the new domain? All I can do is make back-ups

You need to import backups using phpMyAdmin (usually your host has this in their control panel, or if not, you can get it at
www.phpmyadmin.net).
There is no way to import backups using the MyBB Admin CP because of security concerns.
Do I import the ZIP file, Or the file in the ZIP?
phpMyAdmin should automatically be able to unzip the file (if your PHP has the proper zip libraries installed). This depends on your server's upload and memory maximums, but I wouldn't try uploading a .zip bigger than 10MB. If it doesn't work, you can always upload the .sql file (the one inside the .zip) by itself.
