I use to be able to upload files. I haven't tried in a while. I just tried it again and I get errors?

It was a .pdf file as in the past.
I have set the right size for it in attachments settings.
I have also set the right size with my host.

Any suggestions on this problem?


"Error Attaching File

The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: There was a problem moving the uploaded file to its destination. "

Is your uploads directory correctly CHMOD'ed?

You're having a Chmod problem or the upload directory doesn't exist.

I finally changed the CHMOD to 777 from 755 and that did the trick.

I was able to upload a .jpg after changing the CHMOD a few weeks ago.

This is weird, it has been a while but I tried uploading a .jpg again in my forum and I get this error:

"Error Attaching File
The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: There was a problem moving the uploaded file to its destination."

Is there something that is going on with the CHMOD that is making this error re-appear.

I will have to check what the CHMOD is again.

Well if it's the same error, it is most likely it is because of the same problem
