I am a new user to MyBB and I like the standard package alot.
I have been disappointed with the standard of plugins though.
I have several private forums and I find when I install plugins such as "Side Boxes" or "Advanced Statistics" they do not honour the private status of these forums and threads are listed in the "latest threads", etc lists.
I have been searching for a plug-in that would list all the recent posts on the index page without the need to drill down to subforum or check public/private forums. This list though should honour the status of the private forums and only display threads to those people who have permissions - not everyone including guests.
If anyone is aware of a plug-in that does this I would be interested to know. I have searched the web but found nothing. All the plug-ins on the MyBB site I have tried but they don't work.
