okay, i want to get my header from my mainsite:
http://nintendoextreme.co.uk
to:
http://nintendoextreme.co.uk/forums

the header has it's own file:
http://nintendoextreme.co.uk/topbar.php

i thought using a PHP INCLUDE code would work. but it doesn't.

is there any way to do this?

Admin CP then templates=>modify/delete=>expand your theme=>header edit then change the code to suit. Thats all i did.

i mean i want the drop down box and the top banner and so on.

for now im colouring it the same way, but i would like it to be like the site itself.
