Hi,

Is there a promotions feature for members? For example, a member can be in the "registered members" usergroup but when they reach 100 posts, they get automatically promoted to a custom usergroup "advanced members (or whatever)"?

That way, one of our private forums can only be accessed by our forum regulars and not first timers.

Not currently. You'll need a plugin/modification (there is at least one modification out there already if you search for it).

However, when MyBB 1.4 is released, you will be able to do that with the Group Promotions feature.
