On my forum i need to run the upgrader but im missing the 2 files that need to be taken out to run the upgrader. I dont know how my site is working without them but it is any suggestions? I DONT want to have to re-do my site.

What about reuploading the whole install directory?

There is no way your forum is running without your config.php file...and it's not in your install directory. The instructions just tell you to make sure you don't write over the config.php and settings.php in your inc directory, but it they aren't in the package to upload, that is NO problem. Just upload all the files and then run the upgrade script. It's pretty basic.
