You can add meta data to the headerinclude template

How exactly do I do that?

Sorry, I assumed you were familiar with editing templates.

Go to the Admin CP and in the Templates section click Modify/Delete. Expand the template set and click the Edit button in the row saying 'headerinclude'. You can then edit the template and enter your meta tags in there, just like you would in a normal head section. Save and close and the job's done
