Where can i go to remove some avatars in the admin cp?
or do i have to modify the files thru ftp???
i forgotten havent done much to my forums since they got corrupted and lost my best forum!

Which avatars are you talking about? Currently you can remove a user's avatar from Admin CP --> Users & Groups --> Search Users --> *find and edit your user* and delete everything from the "Avatar URL" box (if this is an uploaded avatar you will need to manually remove it via FTP).

To remove avatars in the gallery (the default avatars that users can choose from) you need to delete them from "images/avatars" via FTP.
