Hey,
I have a copy of IPB 1.3 installed on my server, all patched up and fully secure. I am used to IPB 1.3, but I'm thinking of using MyBB instead. I really like how it works, and how easy mods are to install. Should I switch to MyBB, or stay with IPB 1.3?

Also, are there any tips for a MyBB beginner? Also, is MyBB easy to customise?

Well, I have used MyBB, and I would have to say yes, you should!
And with 1.4 coming out, well you really wont need to rely on IPB 1.3, that and they also have MODs you can install with MyBB!

Well... I'm not sure why you're asking here, this is the MyBB Community after all. It's not that we mind, but we're a bit biased.

Other than that, if you want to do any customization yourself, in terms of plugins and themes, you'll have to know PHP, CSS, and HTML.

If you choose to go the premade way you have to know next to nothing about the subject.
