When I click "change settings" after changing a setting, I get this error:

Warning: fopen(../inc/settings.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/asdf1248/domains/progworld.mihopa.com/public_html/admin/settings.php on line 54

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/asdf1248/domains/progworld.mihopa.com/public_html/admin/settings.php on line 55

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/asdf1248/domains/progworld.mihopa.com/public_html/admin/settings.php on line 56

And when I check "modify settings," the settings were made, but the forums remain the same as before.

Help please...?

I got this same error yesterday, simply go to admin/settings.phph and change the permissions to 777 (all boxes should be ticked)

then go to INC folder and change the settings.php permissions to 777

that should do the trick

All right! I just changed inc/settings.php from 664 to 666, and it works! Thanks BIG BOSS!
