Okay i tried to install MyBB on my5gb.com today. After a while of work involving Chmodding i got it to work.

Much to my horror during the install it continues to say the uploads and avatar folder cannot be written to and must be Chmodded! Yet in CuteFTP Pro it says it is!

Me and a friend who owns his own site is very confused. We cannot get it to work any ideas?

You will need to talk to your host by this.

MyBB tests whether it can write to the uploads and avatars folder by writing a test file, so if it can't then it there isn't really much we can do on our end other then ask you to verify that they are chmodded or otherwise talk to your host.
