Could you tell me the exact error you receive when trying to edit/delete a thread?
You may want to check your user group has the correct permission, by going to:
Admin CP > Users and Groups > Manage Groups > *Your usergroup name* > "Go" > Find the section "Permissions: Editing" and ensure each of the options in that section are set to "Yes".
Also, scroll down to "Permissions: Administrative" and ensure "Is Super Moderator" is set to Yes.
If some of them are aren't, simply change them to Yes and then click "Update Usergroup".
