Hello all.
I have to shift mybb from one server to another one.I have already done that but i am confused with the databases name.
because on the older server lets mt DB name was abc_mybb and on the new ser it has to b xyz_mybb.

will it have any effect to my forum?
on other question if i have to change the DB name to which i ll have to mad modifications ????

I have shifted my server but cant see new domain acting coz DNS are taking over and obviously take some time.So before they take over please help so that my forum can b online straight away without any problems

Be sure to change the info in your config.php, not forgetting to change your extensions from abc_mybb to the new xyz_mybb. As long as your domain name itself hasn't changed, you won't need to change anything in your settings.
