Well, my forum is working okay on Firefox, but the testers have reported that they are unable to log in using IE. Would could possibly be the problem? I myself tried it but was only able to log in once at random, the other times - i couldnt log in using IE either. I have tried using ccleaner to clear cache and history and all but that doesnt help, and I've also changed my cookie domain by the help of that sticky thread but still to no avail...
Do you have a link to your forum?

Hello, anybody home?
yo, can anybody help me with this?

----

sorry to bump.
has it worked before?
does it work without the cloak?
i remember hiding the url with a .uni.cc domain stopped it from working...
I tried with IE7, with both uncloaked and cloaked URLs. Everything seems to be working.

I suggest you and your users clear your cookies

My users have still experienced the problem with signing up and signing in on IE, and even I myself experience the same problem with IE. Can someone temme how to fix it, please?

I am referring my users to FF, but not all of 'em want to switch over. It's really effecting my userbase Sad

If in IE's Internet Options you set your cookie settings to allow all third party cookies (low cookie security) does the issue go away? Lower the setting for cookie privacy to test, but be sure to raise it back up to normal because leaving the setting low can be harmful to your computer for day to day internet browsing.

Yes, it does seem to solve the problem but I dont think my users would want to change their cookie settings to simply access my forum and then revert back their cookie settings. Isnt their a more practical solution?

I thought it was a problem with my forum only. But actually all the mybb forum I'm trying to access with IE at medium cookie settings seems to pose this problem. Any help? Is this a bug? I'm lost Sad
Even setting the cookies to accept all I'm facing problem logging in at this website using IE - that was just a demo - I personally use FF. I think you guys need to do a thorough testing on IE. I know most of us users are from FF. But unfortunately, IE still has a bigger market in Asia.
Well, that is getting us somewhere at least. Is there any reason you can think of that IE would see your forum's cookie as a 3rd party cookie?

Ok, set your settings back to normal in IE. Then try this:

If you visit http://discussislam.byethost9.com/ do you have issues logging in with IE?

Then if you visit http://www.discussislam.byethost9.com/ do you still have issues?

Mainly, do you have issues if you add the www?
