Can i make it so that whenever someone makes a post on my forum or thread it doesnt show that "redirecting you to" box, it just takes you there immediatly?

Yes, yes you can.

But I'm having troubles finding it right now . I know it's there I just used it yesterday.

Just Go Board Settings> Server and Optimization Options> Friendly Redirection Pages and turn it off .

This is also a per-user setting in User CP --> Edit Options

This is sort-of hijacking the topic, but is it better on the server to use the friendly redirects? Or no?

I don't think it would make much of a difference, as the page is going to have to be redirected to the new post/thread no matter what.

Well it's does an amazingly small amount for the normal forums. Because it's an extra page generation.(But it's a very simple page)
