Is there a way I can pull the announcements and latest discussions from only certain forums?

Yea, find the id of the forum you want to pull it from and then go to the portal settings

I suppose I should have said multiple forums in my OP. My bad.

Seperate the forum ids with a comma (,)

That worked... but is there a way to do this for the latest discussions box? That setting works just for announcements.

The Latest Discussions box pulls threads from all forums that the current user can view.
