Hey there, whenever I adjust my time settings they always stay the same.
it always say 01:24 AM
How can I get it to show the current time if I do GMT -5:00 hours it never seems to work.
mm, I don't get what u mean with "it's always say 01:24 AM"
is that mean the time didn't ever get updated or changed?

It seems that a user can specify it's timezone. This timezone was wrong, after correcting this from the user panel, the time is ok.
I can now send all my users a email that they have to correct their timezone, but i really prefer not to bother them and set the timezone centrally.
Altough there is a setting for this, it doesn't work, because the user timezone rules.

Try this query in phpMyAdmin:
UPDATE mybb_users SET timezone='-8'
