i have many sections and sub forums.
where do i see the forum id of it?
Go to forum management in the admincp. Hover to forum link you want to see id.
It looks like this:
forums.php?adminsid=683b28f838d928c0764ac27a96468327&fid=1
fid=1 - 1 is id of the forum or category.
You can also do this in the front end when you access your forum, but the URL will be in the format of:
forumdisplay.php?fid=X
where X is the forum ID.
Doesn't show? That isn't possible. I don't think you're looking at the right thing. You need to hover your mouse over the name of the forum you want to know its FID.
