If I installed my forum on the root of my domain, how difficult is it to move it to
www.domain.com/forum without messing anything up?
In your FTP client, you need to create a new folder called "forum" then move all the MyBB folders and files into it. If you have other files/folders in the root of your domain, then you'll need to sort through what to move and what not to move.
Thanks DennisTT. Sounds easy enough, but so did the procedure that ended in me deleting my General forum *laughs*. I'll give it a go. Thanks again for the help!
Of course before you do any major operation to your forum, you should be sensible enough to take a backup
