How do I disable this so that people cannot upload avaters?

I believe that the only way to do this, is to change the "Can Upload Avatars" setting for each usergroup in which you wish to restrict avatar uploading.
In admin CP, just change the upload size to 0.1, maing it physically impossible for anyone to upload an avatar
i have a question related to resize like i set the dimention in admincp for avatar 60x60 but it have no effect on the large size uploading avatar from their computer...... i changed it to diffrent dimention but no one works ..
where it could be wrong
and also i set the avatar file size but no effect shown
i have 1.2.8 right now

Can you go to
Admin CP --> Settings --> Change --> User & Registration Options and set the "Maximum Avatar Dimensions" to
60x60
ok i allow to upload the avatar with the dimention of 60x60.
but one thing realy strange to me that not only avatar's matter others board setting dosnt effect on the board... whatever i make any change in the Board Setting it dosnt effect on the board ... every thing remain same
like i subforums... forum description etc
i dont know why
does it needs to change in database or somewhere else?

Anyway for future reference if the settings don't seem to be updating make sure the inc/settings.php is writable by the server (ie. chmod 666)
