Is there a modification available which allows you to set a pop up message everytime you receive a new PM. I want it so if someone sends a user a pm a pop up will appear telling that user he has a new pm like on vbulletin.

This is a standard feature in MyBB. Just go to your UserCP and click Edit Options.

Note that there's a bug in RC4 that prevents you from enabling this option. Take a look at http://www.mybboard.com/community/showth...p?tid=1095 for a quick fix for that.
