Hi, I'm creating forum buttons, I make it for orange based theme (I'm replacing original Dark Orange's theme icon) and I got confused with new reply button. Some of my friends suggesting red arrow (they say green is boring), but some green (they say it's more natural). So, I've included screenshot both of them

here's button red :

Which one better? Help me choose, thanks.

P.S. : Guess what? It's ugly right? My first time tough.

The red definitely looks better in this case.

Maybe if you were using a different shade of green, but the red arrow compliments the orange instead of creating a carrot effect.
