When i browse to my index.php i get this error.
Unable to select database
Other pages works like a charm.
Everything works fine, before try to install MKportal
Is there something that i can do?

Have you altered the index.php file in any way? Could you try re-downloading the MyBB package from the website and uploading a fresh copy of index.php?
Also, could I please have a link to the site in question? (either through this thread or PM).

are you sure you followed the mk portal install instruction?
they require some modification to make the mk portal and forum work as well

Mybb has a very nice portal built in. You can use that instead.
