I'm actually using MyBB 1.4 BETA, but this is generic enough to just be posted here.

I am well aware that I can't change, remove, or hinder the readability of the MyBB copyright, and I have NO plans to. However, I'd like to know, can I move the copyright to inside the gray box in the footer (the one with Contact us | Site name | Return to Top | ...)? and center it? I'm being paranoid in case you guys track me down and like send me to jail or something for copyright violations.

Well, if the text is unreadable in the gray box, it would probably be a no. But in the default MyBB theme case, you could. I would just not mess around with it.

You can move it to wherever you like providing it is visible, on forum every page and the text is unaltered.
