I'm requesting something that does this for the admin control panel:

Read the part about renaming the admin directory or password protecting it. This will ensure any person with ill intentions won't even be able to reach the ACP login and therefore unable to brute force it.
Proper administration goes quite a bit further than implementing a useless feature/annoyance.
