Hi guys. Using MyBB for a new forum I'm starting and I prefer it to other free forum software by far.

I only have one problem. I want to do a 301 redirect of the domain.com/index.php page to domain.com and I can't find a plugin for this or a solution in the forums.

I don't like having a duplicate front page.

Is there a code modification I can do or a plugin I missed?

Doesn't work. Gives me this error message in the browser:

Redirect Loop
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page.

I should probably specify that I also use the SEO mod plugin, which has his own set of lines in the .htaccess file.

Yes, if you use SEO plugin, this method may not work.
