i managed to obtain the beta of 1.6 so i've started porting them over, at least i dont have to rewrite the entire code since mybb mainly added code not changed code,
Can you keep MyBB 1.4 compatible versions available until after MyBB 1.6 is officially released? This is such a big upgrade, that I can imagine it taking a while for webmasters to upgrade their forums.
that is the plan where i keep support for my plugins for mybb 1.4 till mybb 1.6 final is released
i am just making use of time by starting to port them over
Edit. Most of my plugins are ported and tested successfully, they will be released as soon as mybb 1.6 is released

http://mybb-plugins.com/ i have made arrangments with the owner there, some of these plugins will become availble to premium only
Edit3. (28th May 2010) All my plugins has officially gone into Extended Support for 1.4
Now Preparing them all for 1.6 which will be available for 1.6 beta as soon as completed and they will be no cost to any of my plugins
