Just installed the SQLite version on a subdomain but I was haveing trouble logging in with the suggested cookie domain which included the subdomain. Removing the sub part and leaving the main domain worked but wasn't sure if this was a bug and that the original should have worked.

Also with the SQLite version it still says at the bottom in the stats 'mysql queries performed'. Shouldn't this now be SQL queries if MyBB is going to support multiple database types?

When we suggest cookie domains we can't be 100% perfect always. There is always an exception. The cookie domain itself is not an issue, but I've fixed the 'mysql queries performed'.
