Not sure if this is a bug or not. But I upgraded my site and did the "Find Updated Templates" successfully. I noticed when PM is sent it does not show that inline box or a popup at all. Just says (Unread 1, Total xx)

User CP -> Edit Options -> Alert me with a notice when I receive a Private Message.

Yeah thats the first thing I checked and it was enabled..

It won't show up once you've clicked the little minus icon until another PM is sent.

Yeah I never clicked that. There is litterly no notification of a PM at all when I get one. This is fresh files too.

Not a bug, works for me on beta 3.

Well thats on the default theme. Maybe its something wrong with updating the templates of a custom theme?

Compare your header templates with the default templates.

I was missing

{$pm_notice}

Now I can see the really nice looking pm notification.
