The upgrade form 1.2.14 to 1.4Beta4 deselect the Option "Can search Forum" for all forums and all usergroups.
Is it possible, that the upgrade routine have a problem with the forum permission option "Use custom permissions"?
Is this just for customized forum permissions (where the "Inherited" checkbox is deselected), or the default usergroup and forum permissions?
Every forum and subforum on my forum has custom permissions.
EDIT: Sorry, the option was/is "Can search Forum".

This bug has been fixed in our internal code repository. Please note that the problem will not be fixed here until these forums are updated.
