Hi,

if I upgrade my forum (a backup) to mybb 1.4 beta 4 it comes the following error:


Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in C:\xampp\htdocs\inc\class_session.php on line 366

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampp\htdocs\inc\class_session.php:366) in C:\xampp\htdocs\inc\functions.php on line 1517


I've made the following:
1. Registration database
2. Files raised
3. All plugins disabled
4. All files to /inc/settings.php and /inc/config.php deleted
5. MyBB 1.4 Beta 4 files raised
6. the upgrade script triggered
7. After the Upgraders will choose the Error: / (there where you login.)


Whats wrong?

i have the same error while upgrade from 1.2.14 to 1.4

my server is running on my computer (localhost).
MyBB is fresh before upgrading, no plugins or something.

And now is no error but I cant me login if I start the Upgrade.
I give the user data and nothing happens. Although they are correct.
With Internet Explorer 7 it works all correctly
Firefox 3 :/

Upgrade complety with IE7.

i can't upgrade nothing

Konqueror --> wrong
Firefox 3 --> wrong
IE6 (VirtualBox-Win2k) --> wrong
Firefox 2 (VirtualBox-Win2k) -->

i don't know what can i do

copy your settings.php and open the settings.php on your server with an editor. delete the content and try it.

I´ve noted this too in upgrade.php 1.214 > 1.4B4

I dont know if its a bug or "xampplite" limitation/missconfiguration

well thats not a bug in the upgrade tutorial you are told setting.php and config.php file to any other location and then put them back after uploading all new files before start of insallation

I´ve checked these 2 files since the 1st try, it´s not my case...

the error was exactly the same from first post

And my previous test with mybb 1.213 > 1.4 Beta 1 upgrade was normal
