I think the new adminCP is impressive, however, I find it more difficult to edit the themes and templates with the new editor. Its hard to edit the templates, because the text does not wrap around in the box. Instead it uses the sliding bar, which for me is a bit annoying when trying to make changes, since I cannot veiw most of the code at once. When trying to edit themes, it is now harder to edit CSS. Luckily, I'm a web developer, so I can use the advance CSS section with ease. However, for other admins, that may not be the case. Now, to edit a theme's design & looks, you have to select which part of the css you want to edit. Before, it displayed the css parts and sections all together on one page, which made it easier to see, and so you didn't have to know exactly what ID you needed to edit, but just look at the common names. Those common names are now gone. Is it possible to switch back to the 1.2 of creating themes?
Well there is this amazingly simple guide you you can follow Wink.

Thanks for the link! Its much easier than looking at the source code to find the right section.
If you don't like the Codepress editor you can edit them from their flat file form in your own editor. More information is at our blog: http://blog.mybboard.net/2008/05/20/mybb...ew-part-4/
