As my two most popular plugins I've decided to make the Board Message and Shoutbox plugins the first two I update to work for MyBB 1.4. New beta versions of each are currently available on the MyBB Mods website and are awaiting testers.

I'd really like to get the final versions of these plugins ready as soon as possible. If you have a copy of the MyBB 1.4 beta please feel free to download and test the beta versions, reporting bugs via these forums with as much detailed information as possible.

I already have tested both not beta 2 yet though I noticed that in the shoutbox if you set it to automaticely refresh it would refresh even when veiwing a thread and take you to the index.

Yeah, I had complaints about that aswell and had to disbale automatic refresh. Im using it with the AJAX shoutbox layer.

As for the board messages, it seemed to add the wrong thing in my templates but I put in the {$board_messages} and it works great, i like the way it is so easy to edit the stylesheets aswell with a seperate stylesheet in the theme manager!

First, the Shoubox plugin it's the best shoutbox that I ever tried (The only one that works fine).

I found a small problem when translating it (Spanish).

In line 840 & 845 you use:
$lang->edit
$lang->delete

MyBB 1.2.14 translation dosn't have these lines and because that it dosn't show anything. You should use:
$lang->edit_shout
$lang->delete_shout

Yes, I know that im using MyBB 1.2.14 translation with MyBB 1.4, but, I think its the same.
Mmmm, thats all, all others things work perfectly.

Version MyBB 1.4 with your most recent update of the plugin - fresh install of MyBB. Please advise - thanks.

I would suggest checking your header template. It looks as though there are two instances of {$board_messages} in the template where only one is needed. You can delete the other.

Yes, thanks, there were 2 instances, I cleared one and all is well. Thanks for this excellent mod; it is a must have for my board!

can this shoutbox look like the ones in Vb that would be nice

I don't recall seeing any vBulletin shoutboxes, but don't they all look the similar anyway?

Musicalmidget, your Shoutbox is the best i've ever used on MyBB. I've got two questions.
1. Can you do something with reloading SB? It reloads whole index site. The same situation is when you are posting a message in SB. Index site is reloading and after that it shows me the top of index site.
2. Can you make something that is called Usercall (I've got it on phpbb modified by Przemo)? When you click on user nickname in SB, that nickname appears in input.

If you want to see his profile then you must click this little green icon next to his nickname. It's very useful when you want to write a message to concrete user.
