hey i have my main forums at index.php right


now i click the Forum named NRL right and all the sub forums come on at the top now when i scroll to the bottom the image that is attached is there. that is what i want to remove from the forum nrl not for any other because no other forum has subforums. where it comes up there are no threads its because its only in the subforums. i would like to remove that.

Set the "NRL" forum's Act As Forum? to "No" on the edit forum page in the ACP.

yeah thats right but then it goes into the colour of category and i would not like to have that and id like to have it the look of a normal forum.

You basically want a category to look like a forum, which can only be done by making all categories look like a forum as far as I know.

Alternatively, do this:

Go to ACP > Edit Templates > Forum Display Templates > forumdisplay_nothreads

Remove the contents of the "forumdisplay_nothreads" template.

i just removed the coding in that template and its still there. and no i dont want it to look like a category i want the nrl one to look like a category but remove that thing in the image
