Ok, I currently have my MyBB forums in the ./mybb directory.. I want to move them to the ./forums directory. Is there anything I have to do, or can I just move the files?

Not too sure - maybe backup database and install MyBB in the new directory then upload old database to new?

^ Not sure though.

just rename mybb to forums, and in your genral configuration correct the forum url.
